TEXAS QUADBALL
Texas Quadball is the varsity quadball team for the University of Texas at Austin. Texas Quadball competes in the Southwest region of the college division of United States Quadball (USQ). Each season the team travels to tournaments both across Texas and throughout the country, where they play other college club teams and compete to earn an invitation to the US Quadball Cup — a two-day tournament that decides the national champion. From 2013 — 2015 Texas Quadball won three consecutive national championships, cementing Texas as one of the premier programs in the nation. In 2019, Texas Quadball competed against 47 other college club teams from across the nation in the 12th annual US Quidditch Cup. Texas Quadball went undefeated in the tournament to win the program’s 4th national championship.

Hi. My name is Kyle and I am a third year beater (keeper) on Texas Quidditch. My previous sports background is baseball, which has been helpful with my beating game. Outside of quidditch, I like playing dodgeball with my IM team, Kyle’s Quidditch Club.
Swathi Mannem
Hometown: The Woodlands, TX
Year: 4th Year
Major: Computer Science & Neuroscience
Hi guys! I’m Swathi Mannem and I started playing Quidditch last year (but fun fact, it was one of my reasons for wanting to go to UT). I play chaser, sometimes seeker, but always an enthusiast of the sport. I played a variety of sports growing up, but as a Harry Potter fan, quidditch has always held a special place in my heart, and I can confidently say it is one of my favorite parts of college. While quidditch definitely comes with a learning curve, the people you grow with make it all worth it!
